Refund Policy
1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through CARIUSB, including subscription plans and Boost Credit top-ups. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy in full.
2. General No-Refund Policy
All purchases made on CARIUSB — including monthly and annual subscription plans and one-time Boost Credit purchases — are final and non-refundable, except as explicitly stated in this policy or as required by applicable law.
Because CARIUSB delivers digital content and AI services that are consumed immediately upon use, we are unable to offer refunds once operations, credits, or subscription benefits have been accessed or used.
3. Subscription Plans
- Monthly subscriptions: charged at the beginning of each billing cycle. No refunds are issued for the current billing period if you cancel mid-cycle. You will retain access to your plan until the end of the paid period.
- Annual subscriptions: charged upfront for the full 12-month period. No partial refunds are issued for unused months remaining on an annual plan upon cancellation.
- Cancellation: you may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current period.
- Unused monthly operations: operations that are not used within a billing period are forfeited at the end of that period and are not refundable.
4. Boost Credits
- Boost Credits are non-refundable once purchased, regardless of whether they have been used.
- Boost Credits expire 3 months from the date of purchase. Unused credits after this period are permanently removed and are not refundable.
- If you cancel your subscription, any remaining Boost Credits will be frozen for 3 months from the cancellation date. If you resubscribe within that window, your credits will be restored. After 3 months, frozen credits are permanently deleted and non-refundable.
- If you delete your account, all remaining Boost Credits are immediately and permanently deleted. No refund will be issued for any unused credits.
- Boost Credits are non-transferable and may not be sold, gifted, or moved to another account.
5. Exceptions — When Refunds May Be Granted
We may, at our sole discretion, consider a refund or account credit in the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate charge: you were charged more than once for the same subscription period or purchase due to a billing error.
- Unauthorized transaction: a purchase was made on your account without your authorization and you notify us within 14 days of the transaction.
- Service non-delivery: you purchased a plan or credits and were completely unable to access the Service due to a verified technical fault on our end, and you notify us within 14 days.
- Statutory rights: if you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Union, you may have a statutory right to cancel a digital services contract within 14 days of purchase (the “cooling-off period”). This right may not apply if, at the time of purchase, you explicitly requested immediate access to the Service and acknowledged that you would thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Where you have used credits or subscription benefits during the cooling-off period, any refund may be pro-rated to reflect the value of services already delivered. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection law, please contact us at contact@cariusb.com within 14 days of purchase.
To request a refund under one of the above exceptions, please contact us at contact@cariusb.com with your account email, the transaction date, transaction ID (available in your billing receipt from Stripe), and a description of the issue. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly at contact@cariusb.com. Most billing disputes can be resolved quickly and informally.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension of your account pending investigation. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks we consider to be unjustified and to take appropriate action in accordance with our Terms of Service, including suspension or termination of your account.
7. Account Termination by Us
If we suspend or terminate your account due to a violation of our Terms of Service, you will not be entitled to a refund for any unused subscription period or remaining Boost Credits. This includes termination for abuse, fraud, or uploading prohibited content.
8. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe. If you believe there is an error in a charge on your statement, please first contact us. Your billing statement may show a charge from “Powius Ltd” or “CARIUSB”.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
